Are you a full/part qualified CIMA or ACCA finance manager with a background in logistics working on open book contracts? Are you all about accuracy in a fast-paced environment?
We`re looking for a finance manager at our Iceland site in Warrington to deliver the provision of financial information, including weekly costings, monthly accounts, forecasts, budgets, KPIs and balance sheet reconciliations along with weekly and monthly customer reporting requirements.
As a finance guru with the best `can-do` attitude, all of this will be second nature to you. You will be used to preparing weekly and monthly operational performance reports for both XPO and the customer. Providing variance analysis with adequate commentary comes naturally to you as you`ll support operational management in the interpretation of results. You will not only be responsible for preparing full balance sheet reconciliations (with risk and opportunities clearly identified), but you`ll produce interim forecasts and the Annual Budget while monitoring controls associated with debt ledger and creditors ledger. To add to the excitement, you`ll be doing all of this while supporting and developing your own finance team!
To succeed, you will be part/fully qualified (ACCA OR CIMA) with experience in a similar role, within logistics, working on an open book contract. You will have previous professional experience within a reporting role with a proven track record in successfully establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external customers. You`ll have knowledge of financial management systems (experience with SAP would be awesome!). You`ll also be customer-focussed and used to working in a fast-paced environment with tight time constraints.
If you have what it takes to transform the future, with a company ethos of `you grow, we grow`, then we`d love to hear from you. All applications receive a response.
We are looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You`ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.
