Our client is a fast-growing, multi-talented, award-winning digital agency based in the centre of Bristol. Their clients range from small businesses to FTSE-100 companies, Universities and colleges, central and local Government. They develop digital solutions across web and mobile and strategically manage digital marketing budgets.

The role

You’ll be joining the agency as a senior member of the development team. The role will involve taking technical leadership of development work within new projects and contributing to ongoing support of existing applications.

Development tasks will span both front-end and back-end functionality across a range of technologies with an overall focus on delivering optimised, accessible and secure applications that exceed client expectations.

In addition to supporting a team of developers, you’ll be working alongside other senior technical staff, UX experts and project managers to deliver client work and contribute to ongoing improvements within the agency.

Skills required

From the outset we would expect high levels of confidence with the following technologies.

LAMP web service stackA PHP content management system (e.g. Drupal or WordPress)A PHP web application framework (e.g. Symfony or Laravel)HTML5CSS3A CSS preprocessor (e.g. SASS or LESS)A front-end theming framework (e.g. Bootstrap or Foundation)JavascriptAn automated task runner (e.g. Gulp or Grunt) or build tool (e.g. Webpack)GitWhilst not essential, experience with the following technologies would be beneficial.
