Cosmetic Safety Manager
Veblen International are currently recruiting for a Cosmetic Safety Manager. Our client has an impressive portfolio of brands that they distribute to millions across the world, manufacturing products within the pharmacy, health and wellbeing industry. This position involves implementing the safety strategy across Global Consumer Brands cosmetic and OTC products, ensuring the safety of products throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Managing all safety activities in NPD
Driving competitive advantage through the application of safety expertise in customer offerings
Overseeing the cosmetovigilance programme
Developing strong professional relationships with dermatologists to ensure swift access to quality expertise
Addressing any issues that could be a threat to the company
Dealing with the chemical management and safety monitoring of global emerging issues
Providing the final safety assessment for product launches
Outlining the safety technical standards which define the safety of Global Consumer Brands cosmetic/OTC products and all procedures underpinning them
Developing a strong network of safety experts within various fields to ensure swift access to quality expertise
Candidate requirements:
A postgraduate degree in toxicology
Solid experience working within a similar organisation
Previous team management experience
Experience of implementing new safety processes
