A well-respected business services company based in Manchester City Centre have recently created an exciting new role for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their expanding finance team. Working closely with the Group Accountant, this varied position is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified (or equivalent) individual to utilise and build upon their existing SQL and finance knowledge.

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for:

* Assisting in the production of the annual budget
* Interpreting financial data, and challenge the validity of outcomes produced by financial modelling
* Development of cost analysis reporting information

* Monthly management accounts analysis and month end completion

* Supplier statement reconciliations

* Consolidating and submitting VAT reports

* KPI reporting

* Resolving financial queries

As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will have/be:

* Working towards ACCA or CIMA qualifications/have equivalent experience
* Have experience with SQL - this is non-negotiable

* Proficient in MS Office applications – especially with Excel
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively

* Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

* Driven and hardworking

* A strong attention to detail
