Senior IT Support Technician - £24-28,000 PA – Permanent – Selsey (West Sussex)
Working hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday (Excluding bank holidays)
Full Clean Driving Licence.

Job Description:
My client is looking for a Senior IT Support Technician to join their dynamic and technically capable team responding to first and second line support request via telephone, email, in person and via on-site visits.

Main Duties:
• To be responsible for the handling and resolution of 2nd and 3rd line support tickets.
• Design and maintain process documentation within our CRM system for the technical team.
• Providing technical assistance to colleagues in the form of both an escalation path as well as a training role to better enable other members of the team to complete technical tickets.
• To provide flexibility in supporting out of hours emergencies should they involve 2nd or 3rd line issues.
• Liaise with external suppliers, partners and third parties to resolve faults and repair of equipment.
• Carry out site visits and on-site troubleshooting as and when required.
• Upgrade different types of hardware and software with minimal impact to the client, ensure effective communication with clients throughout the process.

• Competent in Server 2012 R2.
• Excellent IT skills and computer literacy.
• Previous MSP experience working in an IT support role or helpdesk environment.
• Competent in domain network management including Group Policy, AD, DNS and DHCP.
