We are recruiting on behalf of the one of the UK’s leading business services and suppliers in the UK who are looking for an experienced Tender and Bid Writer to join their busy expanding team. They are looking for a candidate who is highly experienced within tender processes and writing for new business.

Working within the marketing department you will be supporting the sales team in writing persuasive tender responses and proposal documents, to win and retain large corporate accounts. As a Tender Writer you will also be responsible for identifying and implementing appropriate strategies to retain current customers along with assisting with the acquisition of new corporate customers.

The successful candidate with have strong copywriting skills and the ability to create completing copy while maintaining brand messages, persuasiveness and readability. Strong analytic skills are also essential to be able to interpret information, data and research.

The role will include:

* Coordinating tender responses and liaising with the sales team and key stakeholders within the business
* Understanding prospect requirements and with this creating bespoke presentations to highlight pain point, requirements and key objects and how these can be resolved.
* Writing and collating proposals for sales opportunities, re-tenders and writing bespoke content for new business tenders
* Ensuring submission are clear, concise and error free, along with guaranteeing high standards are always met
* Managing marketing templates, tools and guidelines
* Providing monthly reporting on conversion rates, loss reasons, analysing results and reporting back on any issues/trends etc.

You will be an ideal candidate due to:

* Impeccable English skills and attention to detail
* Have a creative flair, strong comprehensive skills and strong commercial writing skills
* Experienced within tender processes, key terminology and documents
* Advanced within features of MS Word/PowerPoint
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
* Experienced within leading and coordinating projects and activities within a team
