This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead a team of network engineers providing services to a wide customer base across the UK. The role will include heading a growing support team who are responsible for installation, maintenance, ongoing support of network infrastructure and dealing with 1st to 3rd line technical issues. As well as managing the team, the successful candidate will be required to assist in technical queries, site visits, managing customer expectations, creating and keeping detailed documentation up to date.

Location: Derby (with some travel around the UK
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Benefits (pension, medical, etc)

Required skills:
• Demonstrable experience of leading a team of network engineers (install and support)
• Responsibility to build and manage an out of hours support team (24/7)
• CCNP or equivalent level certification in routing and switching
• Excellent knowledge of firewall technologies (CCNA level or higher)
• Excellent knowledge of wireless technologies (CCNA level or higher)
• Excellent understanding of LAN/WAN technologies
• Experience with Huawei Products (Routers, switches, Firewalls, Wireless) – Not Essential
• SDN + Python experience – Not Essential
• Datacentre Technologies – Not Essential
