Job Overview: Exclusively retained by our client, a manufacturer of Injection Moulded Components, we are looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Engineer (13/05/2018)

Our client wishes to appoint an additional Quality Assurance Engineer with current or prior automotive manufacturing experience, and with knowledge of TS/ITAF16949 legislation & processes. It is also a prerequisite that suitable applicants have previous PPAP and APQP experience. The Quality Assurance Engineer will report directly to the Quality Manager and will work with an experienced Quality team. As Quality Engineer it is imperative that you have good skills & experience with most or all of the following criteria:

• Monitoring process for compliance to Quality Systems and Procedures at IATF16949 Standard, Quality / Product Audits
• Collating data for Part Production Approval Process (PPAP) and APQP.
• Responding to and resolving Customer concerns (8D discipline)
• Raising and issue of Work Instructions and Quality Alerts
• Sampling of product
• Capability studies
• Inspection of pre-production parts
• Customer support
The position is not finite in its functions as there are many aspects that the Quality department are involved in therefore the successful candidate must be flexible minded.
