Our clients are currently recruiting for an experienced and fully qualified electrical maintenance engineer for a large site based near Liverpool Street in the City. Joining a team of 4, the successful applicant must have both the technical and people skills required to work within a modern, corporate environment.
This is a day’s role, Monday to Friday with a slight split shift (7-4, 10-7). Day to day duties will include planned and reactive maintenance to power and lighting systems, fire alarms, emergency lighting, backup generators/UPS, BMS controls, main HVAC plant (Boilers, Chillers – 1stline response), Air Handling units, fan coil units and general plumbing.
As well as the hands on experience, candidates will need to have a good understanding of site logs and statutory compliance (water treatment, fire alarms, emergency lighting etc). Good interpersonal skills are also essential as dealing with the building occupants will be a daily occurrence.
