Due to expansion at a successful, family owned business in Congleton, an opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Administrator on a temporary to permanent contract.

Duties:

- Answering incoming calls and emails from suppliers and dealing with enquiries and queries
- Email suppliers to confirm order agreements, ensuring protocol is followed for all sales/purchasing orders
- Processing orders on to SAP
- Maintaining information on Excel spreadsheets
- Liaise with the Purchase Manager regarding volume and prices of stock
- Deal with any supplier queries in a polite, professional and efficient manner
- Dealing with Manufacturers in China, USA, India and Europe
- Building strong rapport with internal and external teams to ensure the smooth running of the business

Skills/Attributes:

- Previous purchasing experience is desirable
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Self-starter, pro-active, able to use own initiative and multi-task
- Must be a hard worker and team player
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Flexible and adaptable outlook, willing to assist other teams within the business when required
