Due to our clients continued success and recent growth, eSift have an amazing new opening for a Category & Visual Merchandising Manager to join a leading global brand. We are seeking someone with fantastic interpersonal & communication skills and substantial experience within a strategic business approach of product placement and visual merchandising management.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be supporting a leading network of independent pharmacists across Europe with the visual communications of ongoing marketing campaigns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience within FMCG, Healthcare, Pharma or Health & Beauty sector

Location: Surrey

Category management is a fundamental role which will require you to operate in a cyclical manner and to carry constant updating of products on offer. Within this role you will need to be able to understand and interpret data, communicate and present findings to your stakeholders, therefore strong influencing skill are essential.

You will also be responsible for some elements of visual merchandising which will require you to be a creative thinker! You will have the ability to come up with exciting and innovative marketing plans to help set your clients category apart from the rest of the competition!

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

* Excellent Category Management and Visual Merchandising skills.
* Proven experience of having worked in a similar role with relevant experience.
* Relevant pharma or retail experience of Category Management and Visual Merchandising.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
* Organised and efficient, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects.
* Understands the need to balance visual merchandising with commercial needs of the business.
* Great influencing and negotiating skills
* Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
* Positive outlook with a can-do attitude
* Demonstrates initiative
* Confidence in managing stakeholders at all levels
* Global environment mind set
* Strong Communication skills
* Competence in Powerpoint and Excel essential
* Experience of Photoshop essential. Sketchup is desirable

Desirable Skills

* Additional European Language is desirable

Some travel may be required on occasions therefore you will need to have a flexible approach to international travel.
