Are you a Humanities teacher available for a new role after the Easter holidays?

Supply Desk are working closely with an Academy school based in Andover that are looking to recruit a full time Humanities teacher starting after Easter. The contract will initially be until the end of July, but the school will make the position permanent for the right candidate. The role will mainly be teaching History, but it will also involve teaching some Geography and Citizenship lessons. You will need to have experience teaching in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes and possess strong behaviour management skills. The school will strongly consider NQT's for this role too with a positive 'can do' attitude.

About the school:

The school is a mixed Academy school for pupils aged from 11 to 18 years and is based close to the centre of Andover. The school has state of the art facilities for pupils and teachers to use. The school was graded as Good in it's last Ofsted inspection.

The ideal candidate will:

* Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
* Be a committed team player
* Be confident and adaptive to different environments
* Have strong classroom management skills
* Have either NQT or QTS status
