BSc in Geography, Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Studies, Politics or Social Research or similar essential.
Professional Membership and / or Masters level academic achievement in a related discipline such as Transport Planning, Sustainability, Town Planning or Urbanisation for example.
Likely to have rounded experience in transport and / or urban planning with demonstrable skills in areas such as sustainable transport planning, social research, urban planning, regeneration or policy and strategy development.
Proven record in relationship building with colleagues, elected representatives and / or clients. Developing commercial/business awareness and acumen is essential.
Experience and/or knowledge of transport planning techniques, approaches to scheme appraisal and the use of key transport planning / modelling software would be welcomed though is not essential.
Evidence of, and experience in, project management of a range of projects at both low and higher values
