Brand Manager
9 month fixed term contract

Up to £35k pa DOE

This is an interim position, initially on a 9 months fixed term contract, (although this has the potential to be extended for a further 3 months).

This role is responsible for the implementation and launch international initiatives and core range products to the UK market.
• Responsibility for product management, including NPD, ensuring set targets are met, based on Net Sales, Gross Profit & Market Share Level
• Lead the launch team in preparing documentation, setting targets, defining forecasts and launch timings
• Be able to confidently produce and present PowerPoint presentations on all NPD to key customers, together with full category plans in order to grow overall sales
• Monitor and analyse the local market using IRI and GFK data, as well as customer data sources, and use this information to provide updates on sales and competition
• Work directly with external agencies on promotions and PR, managing budgets and setting plans/strategies as agreed with the Marketing Director

Professional Experience/Qualifications
• You must have a degree in topic related education such as Marketing, Communication, Media Management
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a brand/shopper marketing level
• Experience within an FMCG environment
• Knowledge and experience in all elements of the value chain such as Sales, Marketing, Logistics
• Able to understand and analyse IRI, GFK data and I2C data and Dunnhumby

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Good leaderships skills
• Confident presentation skills
• Confident negotiating
• Reliable and open minded
• Results driven
• Able to work in a team
• Ability to work cross-functionally
