Application Support Analyst
£30,000 - £35,000

CPS Group are partnered with a financial services company based in Newport who are on the lookout for a bright Application Support Analyst. Application Support operates as the second line behind the Service Desk and operate primarily as the client’s software systems support. Yourself and the rest of the team will work between business and technical departments throughout the life cycle of the incident or problem, this includes initial investigation and identifying problems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise end users on appropriate action
• Complete Individual Performance Objectives according to agreed measures set by the Application Support Manager
• Undertake stakeholder interviewing to understand current process and gather further information on problems
• Work closely with internal cross functional teams to identify problems
• Work within defined service desk and client SLA’s
• Present all changes to Approval Board for authorisation prior to implementation

Required Skills:
• Proficient in SQL
• Experienced on service desk
• Knowledge of ITIL
• Experience managing incidents
• Can interpret and construct complex data models
