If so, you’ll be interested to hear that North Wales Housing have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Officer to join the Finance Accounting team in Llandudno Junction.

Who will I be working with?

As an ambitious social enterprise North Wales Housing Association provides homes and delivers services to over 2,500 households across North Wales. The growing organisation employs around 200 people and is proud to be accredited with an ‘Investors in People’ award.

So, what will the role of Senior Finance Officer entail?

Reporting to the Finance and Rents Manager, you’ll be responsible for assisting the Senior Finance team in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts, and ensuring the integrity of the purchase ledger, sales ledger, purchase ordering system, payroll, and cashbook, and maintaining the rent accounts database.

In addition, you’ll be managing the Finance Assistants team, ensuring the team is properly trained and supported to be able to provide an effective, efficient and compliant service at all times.

What will I need in order to be considered for this Senior Finance Officer role?

* Proven experience of working effectively within a finance department
* Qualified to at least AAT level 3 (or equivalent) and willing to undertake further formal Accountancy training
* Proven record of adapting to change with a flexible approach to work
* Advanced computer literacy including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and computerised accounting systems
* Ability to produce accurate high-quality work
* Superb numeracy skills
* Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and targets
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to motivate and work as part of a team

What will I receive in return?

Salary: £26,768 per annum
