London Projects is a Chartered Construction Company based in Westminster. We specialise in the construction of super prime residential projects in premier postcodes such as Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair.

We are looking for a Lead PHP Developer with prior experience in writing or creating applications for a business environment.

This role is looking for someone to grow a highly effective development team to deliver our ambitious plans to realise the business goals. Working closely with the Directors you will deliver exciting new programmes and projects that will increase our capabilities and drive our business forward. You will be a string technical lead looking after a small development team whilst remaining very hands on.

This opportunity allows for innovative work which will be challenging and will allow you to really put your stamp on the creations. This is a great opportunity to add real value to an established organisation and help shape the business.

The development team have been working on multiple projects that have already made a huge positive impact on the business including project management software to manage key areas of the business. A time and attendance tool has also been created using biometric data; this has been developed encompassing two applications which manage and collect data and has transformed the way in which the business operates.

Skills and Experience:

• The ability to write and review high quality PHP code in a commercial environment.
• You will have experience within managing junior users and other software developers and performing regular code reviews
• Agile Management
• Codeignitor or other MVC frameworks
• Strong communication skills, comfortable communicating with both Directors and Developers alike
• Docker, ubuntu/AWS hosting, Linux, Windows Apps
• An understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript is advantageous but not essential
• An interest in Security and how to keep data safe.
• Git version Management
