Operational Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operational Team Leader to join my client’s team at a leading law firm in Crawley. The main aim of this team is to increase legal professionals’ productivity and efficiency across the firm. You will need to be able to present and explain information in a manner that can be understood by all colleagues as well as demonstrating strong Excel and organisational skills.

About the role:

• Work with the Service Delivery Managers to manage daily / weekly allocation of work to ensure commitments and SLAs are met
• Report on previous days performance and analyse results to understand what went well / what can be improved
• Report on and analyse weekly / monthly performance sharing results with the SDMs
• After the event, compare the predicted cost and timeline with the actual cost and timeline in order to learn lessons
• Undertake profitability analysis by matter and client
• Process map and document processes
• Use Continuous Improvement to create benefits and additional capacity in the team
• Development and documentation of improved systems and processes
• Research and explore new ways of working (incorporating technology and alternative providers)
• Time processes using analytical estimation
• Present findings and recommendations

Do you have?

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a commercially focused business environment, managing workflow within a team
• Implemented LEAN methodologies
• Previous experience of mapping processes
• Previous experience of conducting post project reviews / analysis
• Experience of working within a fast paced environment
• Six Sigma Green Belt qualified (Desirable)
• A creative yet logical and pragmatic mind-set
• Adaptable management style
• Coaching Skills
