Experienced Project Manager required with a proven ability to deliver medium and large scale software application projects for a global organisation. You will be responsible for delivering IT software / application change from initiation through to delivery into production systems.

Your project and change delivery teams will be comprised of a blend of IT and Business resource and utilise both internal resource and external vendors to deliver and support the changed application.

You will be responsible for managing solution architects, business analysts, developers (usually external), testers and release managers. You will be expected to liaise and engage with supporting roles such as finance, legal and marketing, technical support, business and training resources as required and ensure a smooth transition into operational service.

You will support the Programme Manager and IT Manager in the delivery of additional activities and the development of the overall change delivery framework as required.

• Planning, risk and issue management, budget forecasting, resource management, and financial control
• Experience in various project management tools such as MS Project
• Experience in Software and Systems Development Life Cycles
• High level awareness of the IT infrastructure and business application landscape
• Stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and earn the confidence & trust of senior stakeholders
• Experience in defining, implementing and continuously improving the processes and working practices required for successful project delivery
• Experience of delivering change using external vendors
• Proven ability to deliver medium and large scale software application projects
• Managing multiple project at the same time, in different stage of the lifecycle
• Experience in various project and change delivery methodologies, including Agile (DSDM, SAFe) and traditional waterfall approached (Prince2)
