We are now seeking a National Account Manager within the National Accounts division (NACS) with proven business development skills and excellent knowledge of the Fire and Security industry. Whilst this role has a national remit we are ideally seeking candidates based in the South of the UK- ideally living within a commutable distance of one of our regional sites (Ashford, Romford, Bristol or Birmingham) although this is not essential.

This high profile, target driven role will focus on the account management and business development/ revenue growth of existing accounts, as well as generating new revenue streams through prospecting new accounts. Managing a diverse portfolio, the National Account Manager will develop business strategies to maximise sales opportunities in conjunction with the Account Director and Senior Account Manager, successfully cross selling Fire & Security solutions and exceeding sales and revenue targets.

This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining an account development plan for each account, ensuring the completion of necessary documentation regarding any spec/ design in accordance with the required standards and codes of practise.

You will possess a successful track record in developing high value, multi-site, electronic security solution sales with national end user organisations and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of gross margin and return on investment models.

As well as having previous technical sales experience within the Fire & Security industry, personal traits are also important to us. We therefore seek a result driven, consistent High Performer who has the credibility to gain the respect of clients, employees and senior management with a “can do” attitude and the ability to influence at all levels.

The basic for this role will be up to £45,000 depending on experience, with a realistic OTE of £55,000 for the first year, rising to £65,000+ thereafter.

We are ideally seeking an individual who lives in the South of the UK (ie. South of Birmingham)
