Lower key stage 2 teaching assistant required to start after Easter

Supply Desk are working closely with a primary school in the Salford, Walkden area (M28).This larger than average primary school was graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted. This successful primary school has a thriving community, the school provides a warm and caring environment where each child is valued as an individual and is encouraged to develop their talents to the full. As a lower key stage 2 teaching assistant you would be required to assist the class teachers in year 3 & 4. You will be expected to lead sessions for individuals or small groups in order to boost attainment and help to prepare the pupils for mock SATs exams. You will assist the class teacher support low achiever and children who require additional support in their learning by assiting with guided reading and writing and maths booster work. The school are looking for a bright and dedicated individual who is comfortable at teaching numeracy and literacy to key stage 2 pupils. The ideal candidate must have experience working with years 3 and 4 children have a good understanding of the key stage curriculum.
