World leading British manufacturer of niche foundry equipment now urgently requires 2 new Service and Commissioning Engineers to join their international team. Boasting dramatic growth over the last 10 years, there has never been a better time to join this stable business. To be considered for this position, it is essential that you be willing to travel around the world for projects. Trips away last on average 2 weeks at a time followed by a week or more based back in the UK either working from home or based in the workshop in Cambridgeshire.

Main Duties:

? Commission and Service foundry equipment worldwide – including mixing machines, sand/mould handling systems and reclamation machines

? Complete both factory and site acceptence testing

? Follow up with customers to ensure any further actions/training are understood and completed

? Assist with pre-delivery testing and commissioning

? Help develop the product line with continuous improvement and innovation

? Provide remote technical support

The company has an excellent staff retention rate, with the average engineer working for over 10 years. This is achieved through recognising achievements and providing open and honest discussions and assistance where required.

The successful candidates will:

? Be Multi-Skilled with either an electrical or mechanical qualification – ideally apprentice trained with a HNC/HND

? Be experienced in fault finding with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment –training will be provided on weaker areas

? Understand PLC controls (Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley for example) – ideally with the ability to monitor and change parameters

? Ideally have experience within the heavy industrial/manufacturing sector

In return you can expect an excellent starting basic of £25-30k + Company Van, Paid Weekend Overtime, Company Credit Card, Bonus, Overseas Allowances and exceptional pension scheme.

This is a home based role with international and UK wide travel, the ideal candidates will be based in the East Midlands, East Anglia or Home Counties as some time will be spent in the Cambridgeshire workshop.
