Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team.
Preferable skills
• CIS experience preferable although training can be given
• Sage 50

The successful candidate will ensure the supplier purchase ledger function is maintained to a high standard.
Duties will include:
Match and process all supplier/subcontractor invoices and delivery notes onto Sage Construct
Issue invoices for authorisation to relevant managers ensuring sign off in a timely manner dealing with and resolving all queries
Reconcile all supplier/subcontractor statements and resolve any outstanding items
Answer the phones and respond to any suppliers/subcontractors who are querying payment.
Reconciling/matching of all direct debit accounts to payments made and resolving any differences
Maintaining the integrity of the Aged Creditors to ensure the report is accurate and can be used for Management reporting and payments
Filing of all invoices and archiving of invoices at the end of the year
Any additional ad hoc duties as required
