Admin / Accounts Assistant - London E1W, £18,000 a year

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join our team at Catherine Deane London


- Maintaining & Reconciling Sales and Purchase Ledger accounts
- Producing invoices and dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner
- Posting of all Sales Invoices and allocating payments to relevant accounts
- Weekly review of the debtor’s ledger across all entities and ensuring balances are paid on time
- Day to day accounts input and operation
- Expense claims, company credit cards and petty cash reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of month end reconciliation
- Assist operation team monitoring customer orders, returns and exchange and arrange shipments
- Assisting at shows, sample sales and other events as required
- Answering phone calls and help to resolve queries or re-direct to the relevant staff member
- Monitoring/ordering office supply stocks
- Other ad hoc office administration tasks


- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good Excel skills
- Maintain a high level of accuracy & attention to detail at all times
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team, willing to help others at short notice
- Flexibility to take on new responsibilities and assist with others’ workload
- Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, Shopify and Zedonk is advantage

Job Type: This is a full-time position initially for 3-6 months, potentially permanent

Salary: £18,000 /year
