The Role

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and highly organised person to manage the co-ordination, planning and administration of functional skills delivery within London.

You will actively engage with a wide range of referral agents and support the FL English and Maths Manager to develop the most suitable delivery models to support learner needs and demand. You will also be responsible for recruiting, training and managing functional skills delivery staff within the region and ensuring each learner has an outstanding experience with Learning Curve Group.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with referral agents to generate cohorts of learners to undergo training using the most appropriate delivery model
• Co-ordinate and deliver a robust induction for learners enrolling onto functional skills qualifications. Liaise with induction team to plan and monitor inductions for learners and contract allocation
• Recruit, train and manage full time and associate tutors to deliver outstanding training to learners
• Co-ordinate the scheduling process for sessions in conjunction with referral agents, tutors, employers and learners
• Co-ordinate and carry out the exam invigilation process for learners
• Co-ordinate activities with administration team on actively reducing at risk learners
• Ensure all tutors are using appropriate tracking documentation and providing robust evidence to support learning
• Ensure onsite resources are available for agreed enrolment session
• Maintain confidentially at all times
• Respect the confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act at all times
• Ensure the dignity and respect of every staff member is maintained at all times
• Undertake a wide range of training administration work
• Produce a schedule of reports to a high standard
• Host / attend regular team meetings

You’ll need these important qualities:

• A responsible and adaptable attitude with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Effective at problem solving and confident in communicating with people at all levels both verbally and in writing
• Able to influence senior members of staff
• Proven ability to work under pressure to conflicting priorities in a demanding fast paced environment
• Highly computer literate, numerate and self-motivated with have the ability to manage, plan and prioritise your own workload as well as good customer service skills.
• Ability to operate professionally and confidently

• Ensure the maintenance of confidentiality and professionalism always

Initial 6-month contract

Undertake such duties as may be required commensurate with the level of responsibility and nature of the job in discussion with your line manager. As an essential car user, you must hold a full UK driving licence, be a confident and able driver, have access to your own vehicle and have the right to live and work in the UK
