About the role:
This is an opportunity to join a fast growing digital team working on innovative digital products across business areas within the company group. The team includes Research, Analytics, Design, Test and Development capabilities as well as Product Ownership of key digital assets.

The role will cover the following activities and responsibilities:

Definition of the business opportunity or problem statement using customer focused techniques to understand the customer pain points.

Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery activities to elicit requirements/user stories from stakeholders.

Validate user stories using research, data and customer insight to make informed decisions on priorities and focus.

Produce clear, high quality documentation using Agile methodology and toolsets.

Collaborate with Ideation, Design and Product teams as well as external stakeholders to deliver customer-centric journeys across multiple products and business areas.

Work closely with UX Designers to translate user stories into viable product designs and deliver wireframes and working prototypes.

Support Concept and User Testing to validate product design.

Work closely with the Product Owner and scrum teams to identify and prioritise User Stories at a Business Case / EPIC level.

Manage stakeholder alignment and communication at various levels across multiple business areas.

Mentoring junior Business Analysts.
Skills Required:

Degree level qualification or equivalent.

BCS Business Analysis Diploma would be an advantage.

Financial Services background desirable.

Solid Business Analysis experience and background working within a Digital team, environment and across digital platforms.

Experience working as a BA within an Agile Scrum team and product development environment.

Experience of tools commonly used in Agile environment JIRA / Confluence.

Good understanding of User Experience and Customer Journey concepts.

Knowledge of User Centred Design methodology and LEAN thinking are highly desirable but not essential.

Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills and excellent attention to detail.

Confident working with ambiguity.

Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
