An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation; our clients are currently looking for a Requirement Planner based at client’s prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a temporary role to start ASAP for a 6month period, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £39,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.


Working in a highly seasonal area of the business the Requirement Planner must be flexible and adaptable. There is a strong focus on pack development, master data, demand planning, sourcing including tenders, and rough cut planning in the first half of the year, before switching into execution in the second half of the year. During the execution phase, the emphasis is on excellent operational management and meeting the high expectations of the business and our customers by delivering the full Gifting range on-time and in-full consistently throughout the selling period

Overall responsibility for end to end repacking including service, quality, inventory, and costs

* Range sign-off and master data readiness
* Volume sign-off and supplier readiness (components, gifts, packaging)
* Repack supply plans in alignment with business priorities
* Planning & operational meetings to review status and set priorities
* Stock and system reconciliation of all components, gifts and packaging
* Internal and external supply KPI's to improve customer service
* Visibility to CD and Customer Service teams of risks and mitigation


* Maintenance of SAP master data across all items including Header Pack, components, gifts, and packaging, and APO master for all Header Packs and components
* Maintenance of Bill of Material and consumption rules
* Maintenance of SAP contracts and PO’s to ensure clear demand signals to factories for components, and to suppliers for deliveries and productions
* Post season review and pre-season planning meetings with all suppliers, repackers, and Procurement
* Collaboration with Procurement and Suppliers both Local and Global to ensure lead-time and quality compliance
* Collaboration with Demand Planner and multiple Requirements Planners to build Gifting repack component requirements into the main plan
* Collaboration with R&D and specifically the Packaging Technologist to ensure repackers are provided with accurate instruction and production briefs
* Provide the necessary support, intelligence and adherence, around all Quality driven activities
* Repack Planning of 100+ Header Packs across multiple Repackers in accordance with the demand forecast, production capacity and availability of components, gifts and packaging
* Oversee deliveries to supply the repacker production lines in accordance with the production schedule, and collection of finished goods for delivery into stockholding warehouse
* Stock and system reconciliations during production phase and final post production stock counts
* Regular review with all suppliers, repackers, and Procurement to ensure deliveries are received and prompt payment is made
* Regular communication with Requirements Planners to secure components in line with repack production plan
* Regular communication with Logistics and Customer Service to share risk and mitigation plans and agree priorities
* Regular communication with Brand, Category, CD and Customer Service to share risk and mitigation plans and agree priorities
* Weekly operational calls with all suppliers and repackers to facilitate on-time and in-full delivery of the Gifting plan
* Issue management through clear explanations of live risks and opportunities, consequences and actions that need resolution to meet agreed objectives
* Internal KPI measurement to monitor performance and implement improvement plans
* External KPI measurement to monitor performance of suppliers and repackers, and implementation of necessary improvement plans


* Previous Supply Chain Planning and/or Logistics experience - within an FMCG company preferable
* Systems knowledge and experience preferably SAP based
* Analytical knowledge and experience, and use of Excel to a high standard
* Ability to balance risks and opportunities of material requirements, component supply and repacking capacity constraints
* Ability to hold internal and external partners to account
* Flexibility in an environment with continuously changing priorities
* Personal initiative and drive
* Problem solving skills
* Customer Service mind-set


Degree standard preferred, but not exclusive

APICS or other recognised Supply Chain relevant qualification beneficial
