A leading client based in Slough has an exciting new contract for a Service Manager.
The purpose of the role is to ensure service quality is maintained though out the delivery process and going live of all projects impacting IT Services. To manage the transition of multiple, technically complex services, ensuring the agreed service designs are delivered into Operations with minimal business risk or service impact. You will ensure that the contracted Service Design and Transition approach is referenced, considered and applied by all parties, that new or changed services are aligned with the customers' requirements by maximising existing capabilities and minimising the impact to customers, existing services and operational teams, deliver though multiple business stakeholders at all levels, define, gain senior management commitment, and manage Early Life Support , manage stakeholders and deliverables through the gate process, ensuring risks are highlighted and appropriate owners identified, manage risks via the programme RAID, ensuring there is an owner for mitigation, coordinate Operational Acceptance Testing/Business Acceptance Testing and formulate and coordinate Knowledge Transfer and Training plans to support the delivery of new and changed products and services.
You need to be a respected subject matter expert with significant experience of developing and embedding service transition strategy and approach into a technically complex, customer-facing environment with experience of delivering complex services into live customer-facing operations, ITIL Lifecycle certificate in Service Transition, experience of requirements development and management and demonstrable internal and external stakeholder management skills.
