The School:

Our client is a well-established Independent Prep school, looking for an excellent Reception Teacher or Year 1 Teacher. The school is a boy’s school, academically strong, well-resourced school and is located on a beautiful site. The school is easily accessible by car and is now looking for a Reception Teacher, or Year 1 Teacher to join the staff team.

The Role:
The Reception Teacher or Year 1 will be part of a school which is very well resourced and has a balanced approach, which encourages both an academic focus and provides a caring learning environment. The school also has an established sporting tradition. The school can consider an NQT or a more experienced KS1 Teacher

The Successful Candidate:


* good experience of working in a classroom
* teaching experience as a Reception Teacher or Year 1 Teacher
* ability and confidence to teach high-achieving students and support less able students
* personal characteristics that work well with young children and explicit enthusiasm for working with children of this age!
* Contribute towards the schools extra-curricular programme of activities

The Successful Candidate:
- Good work history

- Appropriate qualifications

- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities duties
