The school strives to meet the diverse and individual needs of its pupils who range from ASD to speech and language development needs, You will need to demonstrate an enthusiastic and caring attitude to work as you will be required to work in small groups or 1-1 with students.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Passionate about developing a career within the education sector
• Experienced working with children with ASD or speech and language
• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting
• Interested in working in a different environment
• Committed, resilient and caring

You will have experience gained from the Care sector and you will now be looking for a new challenge and a better rate of pay. We are seeking you and ideally you will have experience within:

- Personal Care
- Manual Handling (moving and turning bed bound pupils within the school)
- Hoist experience (essential when helping out in the Hydrotherapy pool)
- A passion to work with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Fully committed to be at work for 8.30 until; 4.00pm
- Right to Work ID and 2 references.

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
