An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation; our clients are currently looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator based at client’s prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a temporary role to start ASAP for a 6month period, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to £35,500 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY

Working in a highly seasonal area of the business the Supply Chain Co-ordinator must support execution phase in the second half of the year. During the execution phase, the emphasis is on excellent operational management and meeting the high expectations of the business and our customers by delivering the full Gifting range on-time and in-full consistently throughout the selling period

Overall responsibility for supplying the repacker production lines in accordance with the production schedule

* Full ownership of Gifts, Packaging & Components management
* Stock and system reconciliation of all components, gifts and packaging
* Collaboration with Gifting Repack Planners and Suppliers to ensure timely resolution of issues
* Operational meetings to review status and set priorities
* Internal and external supply KPI's to improve customer service
* Visibility to Gifting Repack Planners and Repack Planning Manager of risks and mitigation
* Visibility to Gifting Repack Planners, Repack Planning Manager and Quality team of all quality issues

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Gifts Management:

* Actively manage inbound/outbound capacity and storage capacity in collaboration with stockholding 3PL
* Check deliveries and receipt into SAP
* Chase outstanding deliveries and manage PO’s
* Implement stock integrity/reconciliation process and ensure timely resolution of all discrepancies
* Implement FPQ and Contract reconciliation process with all Gift suppliers
* Identify and mitigate risks to service i.e. impact of late delivery on repack production and customer service
* Identify and mitigate risks to cost i.e. overflow storage, demurrage
* Track Quality issues
* Track Supplier performance

Packaging Management:

* Check deliveries and receipt into SAP for external repackers
* Chase outstanding deliveries and manage PO’s
* Ensure compliance with receipting in and calling-off process by internal repacker and overflow stockholding 3PL
* Implement stock integrity/reconciliation process and ensure timely resolution of all discrepancies
* Implement FPQ and Contract reconciliation process with all Packaging suppliers
* Identify and mitigate risks to service i.e. impact of late delivery on repack production and customer service
* Identify and mitigate risks to cost i.e. MOQ’s
* Track Quality Issues
* Track Supplier performance

Repacker Production Line Supply:

* Organise deliveries of Gifts and Components to external repackers in accordance with the Repack production schedule
* Receipt deliveries of Gifts and Components into SAP for external repackers
* Check calling-off of Gifts, Packaging and Components by internal repackers
* Organise collection of Gift Packs for delivery into finished goods warehouse
* Check and action repacker damages write-offs
* Implement stock integrity/reconciliation process and ensure timely resolution of all discrepancies
* Highlight transport capacity/service issue to Logistics team

Communication and Collaboration:

* Regular review with Gifting Planners and suppliers to ensure deliveries are received and prompt payment is made
* Regular review with Gifting Planners and Logistics to manage supplier performance and/or capacity constraints at stockholding 3PL’s
* Regular review with Gifting Planners and Quality team of quality issues log
* Work closely with Gifting Planner(s) to ensure all tasks and reports are completed in-full and on-time every week
* Work closely with Gifting Planner(s) and Suppliers to ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner
* Ensure all information is shared with the Gifting Planner(s) to facilitate repack production scheduling / re-scheduling
* Ensure Line Manager is given the appropriate level of information to facilitate risk assessment and decision making

KEY SKILLS

* Previous Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience, preferably within FMCG
* Systems knowledge and experience, preferably SAP based
* Stock Integrity knowledge and experience, preferably SAP based
* Analytical knowledge and experience
* Ability to identify and communicate risks relevant to the recipient
* Flexibility in an environment with continuously changing priorities
* Personal initiative and drive
* Problem solving skills
* Customer Service mind-set

Qualifications

Degree standard preferred, but not exclusive

APICS or other recognised Supply Chain relevant qualification beneficial
