Supply Desk are currently recruiting for a year5/6 primary teacher in a school in Eccles, Salford. This is a small community primary school where people value themselves and others and human diversity and effort are celebrated. The aims of the school are: Be happy. Be Proud. Shine! All children and their families are welcomed and supported to engage with learning.

The school are looking for a year 5/6 teacher who is passionate, driven and motivated. As a year 5/6 teacher you would be required to plan and teach lessons focusing mainly on Maths and English in order to prepare the pupils for year 6 SATs exams. You may be expected to run booster lessons at breakfast and afterschool clubs throughout the year to boost and expand the children’s learning. As a year 5/6 teacher you will have a small handful of high achieving year 5 pupils in your class. The school are looking for an individual who has high expectations and are driven to gain the best results from the children’s education. The ideal candidate must be dedicated and passionate working with year 5/6 children and have experience of planning and delivering lessons in preparation for SATs exams.
