Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Assessor who can deliver generic qualifications including Management, Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading up to Level 3. Business Support Assessor : The essentials.

* Assessment/Assessing/Assessor Qualifications (A1,TAQA, CAVA, ACWE, AVRA, IQAA, A2)
* Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd, 7407)
* Sound understanding of E-Portfolio assessment systems
* Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications (at Level 2 or Above)
* Full UK driving licence and use of own car
* Knowledge of the new standards

Business Support Assessor : Your experience.

* Occupational history and competence within the industry
* Experience in a similar role
* Minimum 2 years assessing experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Maintaining records of learners progress

Business Support Assessor : The desirables.

* Verifier Qualification (IQA, V1, CAVA, EQA, AIQAPP, CLIQAAP, AEQAPP, CLEQAAP)

Business Support Assessor : The organisation.

* A well established, Ofsted grade 2, training provider with centres across the UK. This company boasts a broad range of professional qualifications and apprenticeships in teaching, QA, leadership, Business Administration, Customer Service, H & S, IT, Digital Media, etc.
* This company is dedicated to ensuring learners are provided initially with unbiased career guidance and then a supportive learning experience, which has resulted in a high percentage of learners securing permanent roles at the end.

Business Support Assessor : The role.

* A home-based position responsible for assessing a caseload of learners of around 30 in Management, Business Administration, Customer Service and Team Leading up to Level 3
* Deliver Functional Skills Literacy and Numeracy up to Level 2
* Observe and assess candidates in their workplace
* Examining candidates' portfolios of evidence
* Questioning candidates about how they would deal with non-standard situations
* Providing feedback and offering advice if the standards are not met
* Signing off the award when all the requirements have been met
* Keeping records of candidates' progress
* Attending standardisation meetings with other assessors / team leaders
* Working closely with training staff and learners managers
* £22,000 per annum (can go up to £25,000 after achieving KPIs)
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases with years of service)
* Company Car or 40p per mile
