Role
This Engineering team focus on cross-cutting concerns within their platforms. The responsibilities of this area are the development of processes and toolsets designed to improve the platform itself and assist the rest of the department in the delivery of their software. This includes the framework for the platform's microservice architecture, the ongoing development and maintenance of the continuous delivery infrastructure and pipelines. You will work on the general strategic direction of the platform from how they develop all the way to how they release and look after their released assets in a live environment. The successful Java Developer will also help with the development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of customer-facing software related to the security and access control.

Requirements

  • Java or JavaScript engineering background
  • Strong grasp of REST and RESTful practices
  • A belief in DevOps
  • Experience of at least one build tool (Maven, Gradle, Ant etc)
  • Linux skills
  • Experience with Spring
  • Docker
  • Agile - TDD, BDD
