Title - Oracle Security Managing Consultant Location - Reading, United Kingdom Competitive Salary offered Opening Date - 12h April 2018 Closing Date - 10th May 2018 Context Oracle Consulting is the key component to accelerate Cloud expansion byoffering comprehensive consulting and delivery services - offeringconsultants, architects, project managers and subject matter expertsservicing Oracle OnPrem and Cloud in the UK. They work closely with theother lines of business, such as Security License Sales Rep, OracleDigital team, Cloud Sales Rep and Consulting Sales Reps. Role and Responsibilities Manage the team to develop and maintain a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology and threat drivers Manage the team to develop and maintain security architecture artefacts (e.g., models, templates, standards and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations Contribute at proposal and design project phases from a Security Architecture perspective Participate in key projects in order to independently assess the risks and ensure appropriate risk mitigation has been taken Coordinate with Development and CloudOps teams to advocate secure coding practices, and to escalate concerns related to poor coding practices to the Lead Security Architect Support the development of security strategy plans and roadmaps for internal and external clients based on sound enterprise architecture practices Review security technologies, tools and services, and make recommendations to the broader security team for their use, based on security, financial and operational metrics Liaise with other security architects and security practitioners to share best practices and insights Provision of assessment reports to the management team with clearly documented findings, recommendations and agreed management action plans Experience Extensive experience in security solutions relevant to this positionwithin a leadership or business development role. Extensive cyber security knowledge - Oracle product knowledgepreferred, but not essential. Experience of leading teams to provide functional and technologythought leadership in Oracle Information Security products. Preferably, will have project experience with one or more of theOracle Identity Management suite's products (Oracle Access Management,Oracle Identity Management, Sun IDM, Directory Services, OracleFederation) OR Experience in Identity and Access Management, including directoryservices, single sign on and provisioning, in comparable products likeIBM Tivoli (TIM, TAM, Directory), Ping, Okta, iWelcome, Microsoft AD,SailPoint or others. Fair understanding of data privacy regulations, such as EU GDPR, andability to articulate gap analysis and solutions accordingly. Preferably, have experience in publishing vlogs, blogs, researchbriefs and white papers. Qualifications Higher education, preferably MSc. Ability to work in a matrix organization with virtual teams Strong knowledge of Security concepts (CISSP certified preferred) Good communication and presentation skills Quick learner and Problem-solving skills The ability and willingness to travel is a key requirement Detailed Description and Job Requirements:As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible forensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in atimely manner, at budget, and to our client*s satisfaction. Thisinvolves working closely with the client to understand and manage theirexpectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-partyvendors to ensure delivery.Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a teammember. Services include identifying needs, developing, influencing andimplementing proposals. Able to lead, support and participate on project teams.Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements.Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer groupmanagers. May interact with senior management. A BS or BA in relatedfields. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapportwith team members and clients.
