I am working with an exciting product development and consultancy company in Basingstoke who are looking to add a High Speed Electronics Design Engineer to an already strong team. The company have an exceptional name within their field, and they are looking to add the best engineering talent to help deliver projects on in a timely manner. The company collaborates with a number of leading Silicon Valley players and have aggressive growth plans for the next 5 years. They are now brining the hardware design capabilities on site, and they require an experience high speed electronics engineer to work closely with a team of excellent R&D staff. Key Skills: Degree in Electronics or similar discipline. Experience working with high speed digital design, particularly high-speed transmission lines and signal termination techniques. Knowledgeable on techniques to measure/minimise EMC/EMI/Jitter. PCB circuit design and capture using OrCAD or similar schematic capture package. Experience designing products with FPGAs and microcontrollers, including power rail sequencing, boot up process, configuration. Experience of PCB design and manufacturing processes. Must be detail-oriented with proven organizational and analytical skills. Team player with good oral and written communication skills. Minimum 5 years of Hardware design experience Desirable Skills: FPGA design experience with Xilinx or Intel devices. Analogue electronics design experience, including spice simulation. PCB layout experience. Signal integrity analysis experience. Video and image processing experience. Experience of designs using different PCB materials. Experience using high-speed oscilloscopes, VNA's. The company have a great new office facility, and an excellent retention of staff.
