We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst/Engineer to join one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK. These guys have built the most sophisticated piece of technology in their market and now dominate the UK. You will work in the Software Development Department to help implement an ambitious Test Automation strategy. The organisation has historically used manual QA testing practices and has taken significant steps towards test automation and modern agile test principles, but we are now looking for talented QA Analyst with Test automation experience to complete the QA team. The QA Analysts and Test Automation Engineers are responsible for supporting the automated testing frameworks. You will be working on the existing framework using SpecFlow for web-application automated acceptance testing, but also responsible for solving new test automation challenges such as Mobile Device testing. You will be key to delivering a state-of-the-art Test Lab which will require a variety of automation solutions. You must be energetic and motivated to drive the increased coverage of test automation across the entire technology team and transform the QA culture. You will need previous experience in solving the full array of challenges test automation brings, and the ability to problem-solve new challenges. Implementation of test automation is a central objective for the whole software development department, so you will be fully supported in your efforts. Key skills A strong proven track record of designing and using the Cucumber / Selenium WebDriver / Gherkin Stack across a multi-browser testing environment Decent knowledge around utilizing APIs and databases to analyse issues Experience in designing and running appropriate load tests (Locust / JMeter) Be involved in improving our CI process for Continuous Testing / Continuous Delivery towards our deployment A practical, hands-on approach to writing and managing manual tests where appropriate Commercial experience, demonstrating continuous improvement of quality assurance Have very strong communication skills Desirable qualifications and experience: Experience working with Behavior Driven Development The salary for this role is looking to pay between 40,000 - 46,000 depending on your experience level and offers flexible working hours and working from home a few days per week if needed.
