Reed Accountancy are working with a manufacturing company based in Goldthorpe, who are looking to recruit a Part time Accounts Assistant to join their team.

The role will be working 20 hours over 4 days per week, with a salary of £19,000 pro rata

The main purpose of the role is to support the Financial Controller to ensure smooth running of the finance department. Focuses will be on Sales Ledger & Credit Control.

Duties Include:
• Processing sales invoices on a daily basis
• Sending out customer invoices with the relevant paperwork attached
• Ensuring customers’ accounts are paid in accordance with their payment terms
• Liaising with internal departments and customers ensuring queries are dealt with promptly
• Chasing overdue invoices and under-payments by telephone, email & letter - maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity
• Producing and distributing monthly customer statements
• Updating the cashflow with expected payments
• Entering customer receipts onto Sage Accounts
• Working with Sage Accounts and other company software to input data and produce ad-hoc reports as and when requested
