Your new company are a leading Chartered Accountancy firm located in Leicester, who have been operating successfully for many years and have seen a period of sustained growth. They are looking for an additional Payroll Assistant to join the business on a part-time basis on a 6 month temporary contract.
Your new role
Your new role will sit within the payroll function and you will join the payroll manager in supporting the firm's wide and varied client base. You will manage a portfolio of approx. 60 clients and will process the payrolls in a timely and efficient manner. You will process auto-enrolment, RTI, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP) and you will work with payrolls which have various different pay elements. You will be using the Sage payroll system. This role is available on a part-time basis which will involve approx. 20 hours per week. when you work can be flexible to suit you and the company. Additional hours may be available at month end etc.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you must have payroll experience gained within a chartered accountancy firm, payroll bureau or high volume payroll/bookkeeping background. You should have excellent attention to detail, be able to work autonomously and have experience of dealing with clients on a regular basis. Experience in using Sage Payroll software is essential, along with experience of auto enrollment.
