An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a reputable and well-known organisation based in Liverpool on a permanent basis.

As Finance Manager you will report to the Director of Finance and your duties will include:

  • Managing a team of five which includes carrying out performance reviews and providing training and development
  • Oversee the production of the management accounts, ensuring they are produced in an accurate and timely manner
  • Holding monthly meetings with budget holders to assist with budget management and any variances
  • Producing variance reports for the Director of Finance
  • Working with IT support to deliver efficiency improvements to the ERP system
  • Overseeing the general ledger coding structure and ensuring it matches with business reporting requirements
  • Monitoring the company cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts
  • Authorising payroll to the payroll bureau
  • Stock reconciliations
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Producing P11Ds and P46s
  • VAT returns

The successful Finance Manager will be or have:

  • Part-qualified or equivalent (study support offered)
  • Previous people management experience
  • Experience in the production of management accounts
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience would be advantageous
