Together with our award winningproducts and our drive to have the best development processes in theworld, we are looking to recruit an experienced Technical ProjectManager to join our team to work within the PMO (Project ManagementOffice). The role of the PMO is to establish and direct a strategic framework,set of processes and supporting tools with application guidance to AAAproduct teams at Rare, as well as objectively audit and report againstteam plans, risks and their countermeasures. This role extends to aportfolio level set of controls and processes that aid developmentthrough centralized resources and the allocation to ensure projectsuccess. Essential Experience Able to develop PM systems for use within SharePoint, Web Browsersand Mobile Apps Able to develop against external tools APIs to aid efficiency andadditional functionality Work with others in a team environment Technical Skills Excellent VBA, CSS, C#, Python or Managed C++ skills and .Netknowledge Excellent version control system skills (Perforce, TFS or similar) Excellent ability to assess software suitability and quality Excellent math skills Desirable Experience ScrumMaster and/or Kanban certified Experience in project or program management Visual Studio Team Services, Team Foundation or similar systems Personal Attributes/Interpersonal Skills An enthusiastic facilitator, with positive, proactive and team oriented attitude Able to pragmatically analyse end to end workflow in a system and work with teams to drive efficiencies Calm and positive under pressure and able to happily adapt to changing circumstances. Able to communicate effectively and positively with varied personality types Diplomatic handling of disputes and excellent negotiation skills, with empathic view point to understand the needs of others A very personable and 'can-do' attitude. Excellent at communicating across all disciplines and gathering end-user requirements Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, achieving compromises with other disciplines as required to hit deadlines Very strong problem-solving skills - ability to think outside the box Qualifications Degree level education - Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management, including experience working with developing solutions for business planning, project management and reporting systems Responsibilities In this role you will... Tactically and directly support the PMO Lead to support the studio indelivering world class products Plan, design, develop and implement systems and tools to support thePMO and Studio core priorities Collaborate with partner groups (our customers) such as CentralEngineering, Content Production as well as Game teams to gatherrequirements for software and system solutions Assist in analysis of headcount requirements and cost projections to help plan the operating costs of service driven development models Analyse the end to end efficiency of our development process to plan and execute changes to improve our operating efficiency - provided by Dice .NET, C#, C++, COMPUTER SCIENCE, DEGREE, KANBAN, MOBILE, PERFORCE, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, PYTHON, SHAREPOINT, VBA, VISUAL STUDIO, WORKFLOW
