Job Title: Senior Workplace Consultant

Location: Battersea, London

Commutable Locations: Battersea, Mitcham, Bromley, Brixton, Richmond, Twickenham, Kingston, Croydon

Reporting to: Head of Workplace Consultancy on a day to day basis

Foster + Partners, the award winning integrated design practice are looking for a Senior Workplace Consultant to join their extremely talented team in the London office. This position would best suit an experienced Workplace Consultant, with experience working on large-scale commercial projects, who has understanding of current best practice and trends in the workplace and exceptional storytelling and graphic presentation skills.

Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Proactively support the Head of Workplace Consultancy in the development of commercial and marketing activities including (but not limited to), public speaking, events, social media strategy, presentations to clients and preparation of competition documents
- Independently run client interviews, end user workshops, analyse data and develop Workplace Strategic Briefs
- Bring a creative and analytical mind-set combined with a collaborative and team orientated approach
- Developing and advancing the Strategic Consultancy offer through proactively exploring and developing best practice
- The analysis, preparation, and clear presentation of design briefs, spatial design studies and space usage analysis
- Co-ordinating and undertaking strategic space planning studies and floorplate analysis exercises
- Teaching and mentoring less experienced members of staff, the workplace analytical tools and brief development up to proficiency level


- Excellent Client facing and presentation skills
- Excellent understanding of current best practice and trends in the workplace and strategic design consultancy
- Ability to manage people and resources to deliver on time
- Excellent storytelling and graphic presentation skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Power Point)
- Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently
- Understanding of all analytical processes relevant to workplace and strategic consultancy fields
- Keen to learn from and be inspired by others and contribute to the learning and development of others
