About the Role:

  • Direct accountability for the UK retail team (currently 7 heads with recruitment on-going)
  • Deliver on-going new retail launches
  • Own and develop the retail trade plan in conjunction with the CEO & CFO with full P&L responsibility
  • Deliver on commercial growth targets (sales, profit and margin) through on-going the development of commercial trade partnerships
  • Establish strong relationships with key retail accounts
  • Monitor trade and competitor product ranges
  • Manage and develop trade, promotions and marketing campaigns to deliver the business objectives
  • Oversee instore product range launches along with delivery of new merchandising and POS units
  • Oversee instore stock replenishment on store by store basis (working with our external fulfilment partner)
  • Drive actions based on data led insights
  • Deliver trade performance reporting
  • Deliver a great brand proposition for our partners
  • Work with internal stakeholders to deliver a "best in class" service level for our partners and customers

About You:

  • Experienced at negotiating with business leaders / retailers at a senior level
  • Project management experience
  • Proven delivery of commercial targets and an understanding of P&L management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communicator and team player
  • Senior management, team leadership skills and recruitment experience
  • Experience of managing stock delivery into and returns from retailers
  • Experience of setting up and managing outsourced/ in house instore merchandising team(s)
