Head of Retail
About the Role:
- Direct accountability for the UK retail team (currently 7 heads with recruitment on-going)
- Deliver on-going new retail launches
- Own and develop the retail trade plan in conjunction with the CEO & CFO with full P&L responsibility
- Deliver on commercial growth targets (sales, profit and margin) through on-going the development of commercial trade partnerships
- Establish strong relationships with key retail accounts
- Monitor trade and competitor product ranges
- Manage and develop trade, promotions and marketing campaigns to deliver the business objectives
- Oversee instore product range launches along with delivery of new merchandising and POS units
- Oversee instore stock replenishment on store by store basis (working with our external fulfilment partner)
- Drive actions based on data led insights
- Deliver trade performance reporting
- Deliver a great brand proposition for our partners
- Work with internal stakeholders to deliver a "best in class" service level for our partners and customers
About You:
- Experienced at negotiating with business leaders / retailers at a senior level
- Project management experience
- Proven delivery of commercial targets and an understanding of P&L management
- Strong analytical skills
- Outstanding communicator and team player
- Senior management, team leadership skills and recruitment experience
- Experience of managing stock delivery into and returns from retailers
- Experience of setting up and managing outsourced/ in house instore merchandising team(s)
