This is who you are…
To be successful in this role we’re looking for you to have;
- Experience of working in a data environment having manipulated and analysed large data sets
- Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms
- Experience of building visualisations and working with associated tools
- A good level of experience of using relevant programming language such as R, Python, SAS or SQL
- Expert knowledge with MS Office including Excel and Access
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ideally you’ll have Insurance experience, however, this isn’t essential
We will also consider a graduate with a 'Data’ subject degree who has gained experience of working with large data sets whilst studying.
This is the job…
You’ll play a key role within the MGA, working closely with the Senior Data Analyst and the Underwriting & Pricing Director to define the data strategy and support continued improvement of the pricing model.
We’ll need you to analyse data identifying trends, complete impact analyses of rate changes and investigate external data sets to enrich the MGA’s current data.
You’ll be responsible for building and developing visualisation reports and other key reporting that will be presented at pricing meetings and to key stakeholders.
You will also be required to propose changes to MGA pricing structure to maximise competitive position and profitability.
This is the salary on offer…
We are offering a starting salary of between £33,000- £40,000, subject to your experience.
