We work with global networks of influencers, including activists, NGOs, singers, sports stars, vloggers and businesses whom we partner with to deliver a broad range of campaigns. As an integrated communications agency, we are able to research, plan and execute complex multimedia campaigns using our in-house resources held within each regional office.

What’s the role…
We have an exciting new role for a Social Media and Partnerships Manager. Working to the channel Editor, you will be an integral part of growing Zinc - one of the UK’s largest cause-driven Facebook video channels. Our mission is changing the world - and that’s not just rhetoric, we do it on a daily basis through our videos.
You will be the online "face" of the brand. We have a large audience of passionate fans and your copy and communications with our fans will be what our fans know and love us for. This is the ideal time to join Zinc as we are at a pivotal point in our growth as a brand and business, and this is the chance to be a huge part of driving our success. So, someone who is hungry for success will be ideal in this role.
You will be responsible for audience and page growth - in its many forms. It is essential that you have managed big Facebook pages in the past and experience with video is an advantage.
Zinc is a small team, so this is the ideal role if you are a self-starter who loves pitching in wherever’s necessary and someone who greets challenges with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude. There is room to grow and develop within the role and expand your experience into other parts of ZINC Network.

What you’ll be doing…
Managing all Zinc social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and being responsible for growing them in terms of reach, and engagement.
Developing and curating engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which engage audiences and promote brand-focused messages.
Coordinating paid social media; overseeing A/B testing, assigning budgets, messaging and implementation.
Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and native social advertising tools. Supporting campaign performance and reporting and provide regular insights to drive optimisation.
Preparing analytics reports that provide relevant and useful information to inform our editorial and ongoing business strategy.
Managing our communities, always showing love and kindness to our fans and finding ways to keep them engaged and active on our channels.
Managing our relationships with other Facebook publishers, pages, NGOs, charities and our growing number of clients. Developing content partnerships and liaising with contributors and influencers. Building lasting relationships with influencers, inviting them in for meetings, working with them on new content opportunities etc.
Keeping up with developments in social, knowledge sharing with the team, and being keen to apply the latest best practice - pivoting regularly to ensure we’re at the forefront of the platforms we work on.
Keeping abreast of current affairs and finding ways to link our content to current world issues.
What we need from you…
Strong cross-platform experience - experience managing Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts is essential
You should know Facebook ads manager like the back of your hand and be happy to be on and off of it all day long
Keen to be a key part of creative conversations, such as ideating new Zinc videos and new content types
A naturally enthusiastic and passionate communicator - written and verbal. You consider our fans, clients and partners your customers who you strive to keep happy at all times. You’ll likely be a "people person" who loves building and maintaining strong and productive business-to-business and working relationships. We believe that Zinc is only as strong as the people running it, so we’d love someone who understands and subscribes to that ethos
Excellent copywriting skills with ability to adopt our tone-of-voice and inspire our community to love and engage with us across all our platforms - but with the main focus on the Zinc Facebook page
Love getting your head into statistics and analytics - with the end game always being how we can use them to grow and improve the Zinc brand
It would be an advantage if you have run your own social channels and can evidence having built audiences
Graphic design and video production experience would be an advantage
Motivated self-starter, flexible and adaptable to change
Willing and able to juggle multiple priorities efficiently, often under pressure
Self-sufficient and able to work independently without close supervision. But also, a team player who loves collaborating and enjoys contributing to shared success
Experience in meeting tight deadlines and understanding why this is imperative in the world of social
