We are currently working with a successful, fast growing SME business based on the outskirts of Doncaster who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their small busy finance team.

Duties will include but not be limited too;

  • Monitoring and controlling the sales ledger
  • Chasing payment by telephone, letter and email
  • Dealing with internal and external queries
  • Liaising with the appropriate departments
  • Allocating payments
  • Setting up new customers including Credit Check and Credit Insurance
  • Issuing statements and letters in line with company policy
  • Setting up customer discounts
  • Working within a team including assisting with Purchase Ledger and Cashbook Accuracy

Essential Requirements:

  • Credit control experience is essential
  • Good attention to detail along with an excellent telephone manner and proficiency in Excel / Word
  • Strong organisational and admin skills
