Your new role
You are working with a intimate fast paced communications team who predominately work very re-actively with the external communications. This role is to strategically implement a proactive external communications plan to help promote the role of the organisation and what it provides to its members. The role is multi-channel with a strong emphasis on traditional and social media. You will be working with senior members of parliament on changes in policy.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in devising, developing and implementing effective proactive strategic communications plans and have a background within the public sector or emergency services. You will be working in a fast pace office so you will have to be a team player who is able to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines with ease. The successful candidate will have great oral and written communications skills. Even though this role is linked with the government the candidate can't be too political.
