Audit and Accounts Senior / Assistant Manager - Top 100 Firm
This well established mid tier client is a Top 100 Accountancy practice providing intelligent insight to a variety of market sectors with multiple services provided by the firm. Their client base covers Kent the Southern Home Counties, offering the highest level of accountancy, audit, consultancy and financial services to both SMEs and large corporate's around the UK. They offer a range of services including; auditing, accountancy and personal tax, bookkeeping and wealth management.
They are now looking for a Audit and Accounts Senior/ Assistant Manager to join them. They are an organisation who are looking to grow and hence are looking to attract ambitious qualified accountants who wish to meet and exceed their career aspirations. You must be 1-2 years PQE, hold a professional qualification and have a passion to carve out a fantastic career.
Joining as an Accounts and Audit Senior / Assistant Manager, you will report directly to the Managers and Partners and will be responsible for managing a mixed and varied range of clients, with
service requirements across audit, accounts and tax, along with wide ranging planning and advisory projects. The role is likely to be split approximately 50/50 across audit and accounts/ tax and general practice, along with scope for significant involvement in planning and advisory project work.
You will plan, manage, control and oversee the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm's clients. The portfolio will cover a diverse range of clients across predominantly, wide ranging sector OMBs and you will take a lead with these clients, developing strong client relationships. Alongside this, there will also be a significant number of smaller ltd companies and other clients, up to several million in turnover, with more of an accounts, tax and varied, all round service requirement.
You will also manage and develop an established team and play a significant role in the growth and development of the Kent offices, undertaking business development, networking and winning new client work. There are excellent prospects for short/medium and longer term career progression for career focused individuals, looking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers, with a clear path on offer towards Director / Partner levels.
Qualified ACA/ICAS/ ACCA Qualified
Educated up to degree level
Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site
Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends
Experience with listed clients Experience auditing international groups
Excellent interpersonal and (internal and external) client-facing skills
Based near Tonbridge
