Salary: Between £22,000 - £25,000

About the role

We have a great new position for a Quality Assurance Associate based in Bracknell. Our client is a specialist buy to let mortgage provider. As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will deliver first line monitoring for the new business department, ensuring key day to day operations are carried out in line with the company policies and procedures, highlighting any emerging risks in order for proactive management to be taken.

Responsibilities and Experience required for the role of Quality Assurance Associate

  • Undertake operational quality monitoring and first line defence activities and UAT testing capabilities with the department including:
  • Provide an independent support and monitoring service to improve standards and sure that members of the department continue to develop, remain competent in their role and work within the required departmental and regulatory parameters
  • Assess the company policies and procedures are being adhered to and implemented correctly by completing quality assessments on new business processing, underwriting and completion activities based on process, systems and call monitoring
  • Report any breaches to the Senior operational management team
  • Assist with MI and reporting
  • Provide UAT Testing capabilities within the operation to support the business implement change
  • Monitor the TCF principles within the department across service, products and the lending policy
  • Quality assurance experience is essential within a financial services company, preference will be given to candidates with the mortgage sector experience.
  • Good understanding of key elements and stages of mortgage applications at every level of the process
  • Diligent with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
