Business Support Assistant - Primary Care and Community Services
The post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive, administrative and secretarial support to the primary/community care (options) teams. You will be an efficient administrator who contributes significantly to achievement of the role of the team through provision of a variety of administrative and secretarial roles. You will work independently for much of the time managing calls, emails, rotas and diary time. You will also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider Business Support Team as required. This post will provide support to the Adult Services Team in terms of a local Pay Office function which has time-critical tasks which must be completed efficiently and accurately. You must show competence in the use of range of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL and you must show knowledge of working in an office environment and of operation of office equipment and systems. This may be through formal training or work experience. The shift pattern is for the morning's hours to be confirmed but must be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
